LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Despite a bogey on the first hole for the second straight day, Charlie Beljan has since bounced back with a pair of birdies to reclaim the solo lead here in the final round of the Children’s Miracle Network Classic.
The 28-year-old rookie has plenty of company right behind him, though, with Vaughn Taylor and Brian Gay just one just back. Four others, including Boo Weekley, are another stroke back, while five players are at 11 under.
As for the race for the top 125 on the money list, Kevin Chappell, who made the turn in 1 under and is tied for 20th at 9 under, is on the bubble and projected to finish 125th — for now. Stay tuned.
