    Tottenham needs Champions League place to keep Bale, admits Villas-Boas

    Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas has hinted that the club must secure on of the Premier League's UEFA Champions League berths in order to keep hold of Gareth Bale - a player he says Spurs are "very fortunate" to have at the moment.
