I have total faith in Galliani, says AC Milan owner Berlusconi
AC Milan's Silvio Berlusconi has hit out at claims that vice president Adriano Galliani is on his way out of the club.

The former Italian Prime Minister, who has worked alongside the 68-year-old since 1986, moved promptly to quell the rumours, and took the opportunity to underline his complete confidence in his right-hand man.

"I take this opportunity to reiterate my total faith in Adriano Galliani," Berlusconi told reporters at a press conference. “There have been some articles relating to Milan and its structure. These articles are devoid of any truth.

"He [Galliani] is one of the greatest men in the game and has been my friend for 30 years. I have unconditional professional respect for him."

AC Milan has struggled to a 2-1-3 start in Serie A play, and the Rosseneri continue their UEFA Champions League campaign Wednesday against Zenit-St. Petersburg after playing Anderlecht to a scoreless draw in their Group C opener.
