Toronto FC snatched a point at home and slowed the charge of the top team in the West, drawing 2-2 with FC Dallas at BMO Field.
Dallas took the lead in the 32nd minute. Michel's long free kick was flicked on by Kenny Cooper to the TFC far post, where Andrew Jacobson was waiting. The Dallas midfielder lashed a powerful shot across the net and into the far corner to make it 1-0.
The Hoops doubled their advantage in the 59th minute. Dallas broke up a TFC counter attack, and a long ball from Jackson found Blas Perez, who blasted a left-footed half-volley past Joe Bendik to double the lead.
But Toronto wouldn't be counted out of this game. Justin Braun pulled one back in the 85th minute, heading in a loose ball bouncing in the box, and Darel Russell secured the point late for Toronto with a 90th minute strike.
