Tony Stewart is paying tribute to Dale Earnhardt in his final trip to Daytona International Speedway as a Sprint Cup Series driver.

Stewart, who is retiring at the end of 2016, is wearing this helmet:

Earnhardt and Stewart are two of the winningest drivers in Daytona history. Earnhardt won 34 races at Daytona in his career while Stewart has won 19. Earnhardt didn’t win his first Daytona 500 until 1998. Stewart, who like Earnhardt has come agonizingly close in NASCAR’s biggest race, missed his last chance to win the race for the first time in February.

Stewart is a four-time winner of the summer Sprint Cup race at Daytona, held Saturday night. His last win came in 2011 when he took the checkered flag as Kyle Busch crashed trying to block Stewart.
