Tobias Harris scored 31 points and added 8 rebounds to help the Orlando Magic defeat the Philadelphia 76ers, 92-81. Orlando (19-43) picked up the win after falling to the Miami Heat on Saturday.
Harris shot 11-20 and converted 9-9 from the free throw line. Orlando also got solid performances from Nikola Vucevic with 18 points and 17 rebounds, and Moe Harkless with 10 points and 6 rebounds. Thaddeus Young had another strong performance for Philadelphia in the loss, scoring 29 points on 13-25 shooting, including 3-7 from behind the arc. He also registered 8 rebounds. Michael Carter-Williams chipped in 17 points and 11 rebounds and Henry Sims finished with 12 points and 7 rebounds.
The 76ers posted an eFG% of just 40.1%, including 20.8% from 3-point range. This year, they are 1-17 when they record marks below 45% and 30% in those respective categories. On the other hand, the Magic are 8-3 when holding their opponents to such low percentages.
Philadelphia (15-45) has now lost 14 consecutive games.
