Tobias Harris came off the bench and recorded his seventh double-double this season, scoring 25 points and registering 11 rebounds, to help the Orlando Magic beat the Portland Trail Blazers, 95-85. Orlando (20-52) has won just one of their last 10 games.
Harris finished 10-15 (2-3 from three-point range) in a good performance. Other top contributors for Orlando included Nikola Vucevic with 22 points and 10 rebounds, and Victor Oladipo with 13 points and 6 assists. Despite the loss, Robin Lopez scored 20 points for Portland on 9-13 shooting. He also registered 13 rebounds.
The Trail Blazers posted an eFG% of just 41.3%, including 26.9% from 3-point range. This year, they are 2-5 when they record marks below 45% and 30% in those respective categories. On the other hand, the Magic are 9-3 when holding their opponents to such low percentages.
Portland (45-27) has now lost three straight games.
Coming up, the Magic square off with the Charlotte Bobcats, who are 34-37 on the season. The Trail Blazers match up with the Atlanta Hawks, currently sitting at 31-38 this year. The Magic have a 1-1 record against Charlotte this season. The Trail Blazers are 1-0 versus Atlanta this season.
