While most of the attention in Tennessee has been tied to the impending quarterback battle between Matt Hasselbeck and Jake Locker, another place where competition looms could be just as important for the Titans.
The Titans are in the process of retooling their offensive line, throwing open the center and right guard positions, according to TitanInsider. Center Eugene Amano, who saw the Titans host five free agent centers this off-season, will instead have to fend off his backup from last year, Kevin Matthews, son of offensive line coach Bruce Matthews.
At right guard, Leroy Harris will try to stay in the starting lineup against Fernando Velasco, who could slip into the center mix as well. Harris started last year at left guard, but when the Titans signed Steve Hutchinson, it pushed Harris over to the other side to fight for his starting role.
