Titans WR-RS Marc Mariani broke his left leg Thursday in the first quarter of Tennessee's preseason game against the Cardinals.
Mariani was carted off the field after suffering what appeared to be a severe break during a punt return. The Tennessean's Jim Wyatt reported that the injury will end his season.
A Pro Bowler as a rookie in 2010, Mariani was entering his third NFL season. He averaged 10.7 yards per punt return and had a kickoff-return average of 23.4 yards in 2011.
