Titans C Amano out for season

Tennessee Titans starting center Eugene Amano will miss the entire season with a torn triceps, TitanInsider.com reported Saturday.

Amano sustained the injury on Thursday night and will require surgery.

Amano was in a battle to keep his job with Kevin Matthews, who has been out with a concussion. Matthews is expected to return next week, perhaps by Wednesday.

The Titans will move Fernando Velasco to the starting center spot for now. He had been competing for the right guard job. Leroy Harris will move over to right guard after playing on the left side the past two seasons.
