Tim Hudson gets blasted by the Dodgers

Giants starter Tim Hudson got hammered and lasted only one inning in a loss to the Dodgers on Saturday, dropping to 9-11 on the year.

He allowed run-scoring doubles to Matt Kemp and Hanley Ramirez, and run-scoring singles to Carl Crawford and A.J. Ellis in the opening frame. Hudson couldn't retire a batter and was pulled for Tim Lincecum in the second. He was shelled for six runs on eight hits and no walks while striking out two over one inning of a 17-0 defeat. His ERA ballooned from 3.12 to 3.41 on the year after Saturday's dreadful outing.

Hudson will look to recover Friday at San Diego.
