Tim Duncan posted his 13th double-double this season, scoring 24 points and registering 17 rebounds, to help the San Antonio Spurs sneak past the Memphis Grizzlies, 110-108. The Spurs had an impressive game shooting the ball in this game, finishing 43-83 (51.8%). San Antonio (27-8) has now won seven of their last 10 games.
Duncan finished 9-16 and converted 6-8 from the free throw line. Other top performers for San Antonio were Kawhi Leonard with 17 points and 6 rebounds, and Tony Parker with 10 points and 6 assists. Mike Conley had another big game for Memphis despite the loss, scoring 30 points on 12-23 shooting (3-5 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 3-5 from the free throw line. Zach Randolph chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds and Jon Leuer finished with 10 points and 9 rebounds.
Memphis (15-19) has now dropped three consecutive games versus San Antonio.
Coming up, the Spurs square off with the Dallas Mavericks, who are 20-15 on the season. The Grizzlies match up with the Phoenix Suns, currently sitting at 20-13 this year. The Spurs are 1-0 versus Dallas this season. The Grizzlies have come away with a win the last two games against Phoenix.
