Despite the loss, Channing Frye scored 22 points for Phoenix on 8-11 shooting, including 4-4 from behind the arc. Eric Bledsoe chipped in 15 points and 7 assists, Miles Plumlee finished with 13 points and 13 rebounds, and Markieff Morris put up 12 points and 6 rebounds.
The Suns dished out 16 assists versus 19 turnovers, a ratio of just .84. They are 2-4 on the season when committing more errors than assists in a game. The Spurs, on the other hand, are undefeated (4-0) when forcing opponents beneath 1.00 in assist-to-turnover ratio.
This loss snaps a five-game winning streak for Phoenix, dropping them to 14-10 on the year.
