Dirk Nowitzki had another big game for Dallas despite the loss, scoring 25 points on 10-17 shooting from the field and 4-4 from the free throw line. Monta Ellis chipped in 23 points and 6 assists, DeJuan Blair finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Jose Calderon put up 13 points and 7 rebounds.
Dallas (16-13) could not get back-to-back victories after defeating Houston on Monday.
