Duncan went 10-15, in a strong performance. Other top performers for San Antonio were Tony Parker with 15 points and 7 assists, Tiago Splitter with 11 points and 5 rebounds, and Manu Ginobili with 10 points and 7 assists. On 6-13 shooting, including 3-4 from behind the arc, Jeff Teague scored 19 points for Atlanta in the loss. He also recorded 7 assists. Al Horford contributed 18 points and 7 rebounds, DeMarre Carroll finished with 17 points and 8 rebounds, and Paul Millsap put up 15 points and 14 rebounds.
Atlanta (9-10) has now lost back-to-back games after falling to Washington on Saturday.
