A Rory McIlroy v. Tiger Woods Rivalry?
The PGA has desperately been looking for a rivalry since the days of Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. The elements of one have appeared in a previous contest, the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, where both Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods finished the first two rounds tied. The potential for a close contest is in the air, but it is still speculation as to whether it will solidify. For the television networks, though, speculation is all they need to make millions on commercials and sponsors.
