The 2012 NFL regular-season schedules were released for all 32 teams on April 17. One of the biggest modifications with the scheduling format is that Thursday Night Football games have been extended throughout the entire season. Fans who have purchased NFL Network will be able to enjoy even more of the football that they love during the fall and winter months.
Please note that the 2012 NFL Kickoff Game between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants will not be played on a Thursday night. This game will be played on NBC during a Wednesday night on September 5. The Thursday Night Football schedule will begin with Week 2 games on September 13. Another important thing to note is that the Thanksgiving night game will be played on NBC, not NFL Network.
