The Miz is one of the most polarizing figures in the WWE. Fans either love him or hate him. Being a huge fan of the WWE for a very long time, I can honestly say that I think he is among the most underrated talents on the roster. Now that he is back in the WWE, it appears that the WWE will be using him as a champion once again. He won the Intercontinental Championship from Christian right away upon returning. Here are three good reasons why they need to consider moving him to bigger and better things once again:
The Miz will draw plenty of heat
Nobody gets a crowd any more riled up than The Miz. This guy is a magnet for heat. If they were to insert him into the WWE Championship scene, it would immediately make the title more interesting. Imagine inserting the Miz into the match with Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio at SummerSlam. He could really liven things up.
The Miz would be awesome for Dolph Ziggler to feud with.
The Miz and Ziggler employ very similar styles in the ring. Both of them are technicians in the ring and are fully capable of going to the air when necessary. What makes this feud so interesting, however, would be their egos. Can you imagine the promos that these two could cut? While Dolph would need to work on it a bit, The Miz could possibly give him the practice he needs on the mic.
The Miz is ready to lead a group of super heels.
There are some up and coming heels in Damien Sandow and others, but overall they are lacking. The Miz has always been one of the better heels anyway. Now, he is ready to take on a more veteran type of role as a heel. I can see The Miz actually starting a super group of heels. The time has come for him to take on a bigger role.
Although the Intercontinental Championship is certainly a big championship, it is hard to go back to that after being WWE Champion. The Miz has been at the highest level and should be there again someday soon. He is simply too entertaining to waste his talents on the mid-card. Put the Miz back into the main event!
