The 2012 MLB regular season is nearly complete with just a handful of teams battling it out for a shot at the postseason. Teams that are still in the hunt face extraordinary pressure while those eliminated have the opportunity to play spoiler. It is perhaps the most exciting time of the regular season.
The highlight of the day will be when the Texas Rangers visit the Oakland Athletics at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum located in Oakland, Calif.
Matt Harrison (18-10, 3.26 ERA) will take the mound for the Rangers facing off against the Athletics' Travis Blackley (5-4, 4.25 ERA) in a must-win game for Oakland if they hope to play in the postseason.
With a number of great games to be played on the day, this will be one of the better ones.
