Texas A&M suspended starters Deshazor Everett and Floyd Raven stemming from their arrests in April. Athletic director Eric Hyman announced Sunday that junior cornerback Everett will be suspended a half-game and junior safety Raven a full game for their roles in a fight that got them arrested April 30. It is not immediately known which game they will miss. Everett and Razor were charged with misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief after allegedly hitting two men in the face at an apartment complex in College Station, according to police reports. The two players were suspended from the team in July. Everett had 56 tackles and two interceptions while starting 12 games last year. Raven had 16 tackles in 13 games. He is projected to start this season.
