Carlos Tevez has his sights on winning the Scudetto and finishing as top goalscorer in Serie A as Juventus looks to put its Champions League exit behind it.
The Turin club thrashed Sassuolo 4-0 on Sunday to help banish the ghosts of its midweek loss to Galatasaray, with the Argentine striker bagging his eighth, ninth and 10th goals in the league this campaign in the home win.
The former Manchester City attacker claimed that the Bianconeri were redeemed somewhat by the victory and says he has set his sights firmly on the title and the Capocannoniere prize.
"Playing in Europe is not like Italian football, there is more quality on the continental arena," Tevez, 29, told Mediaset Premium when asked why the club could score so freely in Serie A but not in Europe.
"First, I want to win the Scudetto with Juve, after which I'd also like to top the goalscoring rankings in Serie A, though that is a secondary objective."
Antonio Conte's men play twice more before the winter break: at home to Avellino on Wednesday followed by a trip to Atalanta on Dec. 22.
