Utah defensive tackle Star Lotulelei has a heart condition that prevented him from working out at the NFL Combine, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.
Lotulelei's left ventricle is only pumping blood at 44 percent, below the normal threshold between 55 and 70 percent.
As a result, he will head back to Salt Lake City for further tests.
This is a potentially serious issue for a player who was projected as one of the top prospects at his position in the NFL Draft.
