Terrell Suggs wears gladiator mask before game, gets fined by NFL
This is Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs before last Thursday's game against the Steelers. He donned this gladiator's mask during pre-game warmups because, among other things, he "thought we needed a boost" and "couldn't afford to start slow."
Mission accomplished: the Ravens dominated the Steelers, 26-6 -- but it came at a cost. Apparently, the mask isn't part of the required uniform because the league fined Suggs $5,512.
We're guessing Suggs would say it was worth it, and that he'd gladly part with $5,500 every week if it meant the Ravens would win. Maximus would want it that way.
