Chris Johnson established the ground game, paving the way to a win for the Titans against the Rams, 28-21, in St. Louis.
Jake Locker went 13 for 22 for the game with 185 yards passing, one touchdown (0 pass, 1 rush) and two picks. On the Rams side, Kellen Clemens went 20 for 35 with 210 yards passing, one touchdown and one fumble.
Johnson was a focal point for the Titans, running at will on the Rams for 150 yards on 23 carries with two touchdowns while adding three receptions for 20 yards. Kendall Wright caught three balls for 69 yards.
The Tennessee defense surrendered 160 yards rushing and 210 passing. They got to Clemens for two sacks.
Rams running back Zac Stacy provided some spark with 127 yards rushing, 51 receiving and two touchdowns. Tight end Jared Cook had a good game as well with 36 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Titans are at home to take on the Jaguars (0-8) next week while the Rams travel to Indianapolis to meet the Colts (5-2).
