Ten Hottest Hotties in the NFL 2012

Yahoo Contributor Network

I love football. The competition, the toughness, the excitement and the spectacular plays that rocket you to your feet. I love going to games, cheering my vocal chords into oblivion, and relishing the victory that hopefully follows. I am a fan. But I'm also a woman, and I can't help but notice there are some good looking fellows out there on the gridiron.

While this is certainly a matter of personal taste, here is my list of the ten hottest hotties in the NFL 2012. Recognize these are all quality players with real talent, because there is nothing sexier than being at good at what you do:

Ray Lewis, Baltimore Ravens

Nobody gets a team fired up like Ray Lewis. At the age of 37 he is still feared by opposing offenses and leads his team both on and off the field every week.

Mark Sanchez, New York Jets

The epitome of talk dark and handsome, Mark Sanchez has risen to the challenge of Tim Tebow breathing down his neck. So he bonked him on the head with ball when he wasn't looking - pay attention Tim!

Clay Matthews, Green Bay Packers

Clay Matthews is gorgeously chiseled, with long blonde locks and cheekbones that could cut ice. If he didn't play football, he would be a shoo-in to grace the cover of romance novels.

Reggie Bush, Miami Dolphins

Reggie Bush was the star running back for the New Orleans Saints, a tabloid king when linked to Kim Kardashian, and now he is helping the Dolphins claw their way up from the basement of the NFL - and looking good all the while.

Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions

Matthew Stafford may be the quarterback in Detroit, but something about him just screams southern boy. Stafford went to high school in Texas and then on to the University of Georgia - a good ol' boy getting the job the done.

John Harbaugh, Baltimore Ravens

Either I'm getting older or the coaches are getting younger, but Harbaugh is sure easy on the eyes for a coach who just turned 50. Though he has yet to lead the Ravens all the way to the Super Bowl, they are always a tough team with handsome Harbaugh at the helm.

Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers

Cam Newton won the Heisman Trophy in college and Rookie of the Year in the NFL. He is equally blessed when it comes to his looks with a smile capable of making grown women giggle.

Christian Ponder, Minnesota Vikings

Quarterback Christian Ponder was calm, cool and collected when he took on the previously undefeated San Francisco 49ers. This is one handsome young warrior who is not to be dismissed.

Tom Brady, New England Patriots

My mom thinks Tom Brady is just so cute, and I guess she isn't alone since he married a supermodel. So he's on the list - for supermodels and seniors.

Tony Gonzalez, Atlanta Falcons

Tony Gonzalez may be in the twilight of his NFL career, but he still has that mesmerizing twinkle in his eye and shows no signs of slowing down as he remains one of the best tight ends in the game.

Lisa Stewart is a married mother of two who lives in the suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a die-hard Bengals fan and looks forward to the day when they will finally win it all.
