Teddy Bridgewater working out for Jags

The Jacksonville Jaguars want another look at Teddy Bridgewater.

According to a report from ESPN, the Jaguars will meet with the former Louisville quarterback and work him out. At one point Bridgewater was thought of as a top five pick, if not the No. 1 overall selection. He's since seen his draft stock drop, going as late as the second round.

Bridgewater didn't have a great Pro Day and reports circled that his private workouts hadn't fared well either.

Jacksonville is in dire need of a franchise quarterback. Unless he's beaten out by a rookie this preseason, Chad Henne will open the season as a starter. The organization traded former first-rounder Blaine Gabbert to San Francisco earlier this offseason.

At this point it's likely a reach for the Jaguars to draft Bridgewater with the third overall pick. But they do hold the 39th overall spot. If Bridgewater begins to fall, that could be a landing spot.
