NBA news from Woj:

Tebow only wants to play QB

The SportsXchange

Free agent quarterback Tim Tebow turned down an NFL team interested in him because he refuses to switch to another position, according to Sports Illustrated's Peter King.

The report did not indicate which team was interested in Tebow.

Tebow has also rejected offers from the Canadian Football League and USA Rugby. He reportedly only wants to return to the NFL if he has the chance to play quarterback.

Tebow was released by the New England Patriots last Saturday.

After starring at Florida, Tebow has completed 47.9 percent of his passes in the NFL, thrown for 2,422 yards with 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions and rushed for 989 yards with 12 TDs. He went 7-4 as a starter for the Denver Broncos in the 2011 regular season and helped get them to the playoffs. He spent last season with the New York Jets, where he completed 6 of 8 passes for 39 yards.

He signed with the Patriots in the offseason and was one of the team's final cuts when rosters were reduced to 53 players.
