Vincent Jackson had a big day, but it wasn't enough to avoid a loss for the Buccaneers against the Falcons, 31-23, at Georgia Dome.
Mike Glennon found the end zone two times on 26 of 44 passing for 256 yards and one fumble. Matt Ryan ended up going 20 of 26 with 273 yards passing, three touchdowns and no interceptions for the Falcons.
Doug Martin ran for 47 yards on 11 carries. Jackson was a top performer, snagging 10 balls for 138 yards with two touchdowns.
The Tampa Bay defense allowed 18 yards rushing and 273 passing.
Finally, Rian Lindell was perfect, making all three of his field goal attempts.
Falcons wide receiver Harry Douglas was impressive, racking up 149 receiving yards and one touchdown. Running back Jacquizz Rodgers also put together a noteworthy performance with 46 receiving yards, 16 rushing and two touchdowns.
The Buccaneers are at home to take on the Panthers (3-3) next week while the Falcons travel to Glendale to meet the Cardinals (3-4).
