Suspect in Saints' egging quits Atlanta airport job

National Football Post

There will not be any discipline for the suspected egg thrower that nailed the New Orleans Saints team buses last Wednesday at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

That is because the lone suspect in the case has quit his job.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports a restaurant worker at the airport quit after he was questioned by police about the incident. The worker was not identified by airport spokesman DeAllous Smith and the Department of Aviation has closed the case.

According to the report, three or four eggs were thrown at a bus from the tarmac as the Saints were departing for their hotel the night before the game at the Georgia Dome. The Falcons won the game 23-13.
