WARNING: Spoilers, obviously.

Game of Thrones is known for its insanely gruesome deaths (and occasional torturous rebirths), but perhaps one of its most shocking episodes to date was The Rains of Castamere, perhaps better known as the Red Wedding. You know, that time when Walder Frey (played by David Bradley) engineered the bloody deaths of Catelyn Stark, Robb Stark, and a pregnant Talisa Stark. Fun times.

That said, Frey got a bloody end of his own...or did he?

Although we all remember when the ever-badass Arya Stark got her revenge on Frey by tricking him to eat a pie made of his own sons before slitting his throat, it looks like Walder Frey may make a reappearance on season 7 of Game of Thrones. As reported by Watchers on the Wall, the official resume of Bradley lists all of the appearances Frey made on the show, including seasons 1, 2 (although 2 should be corrected to 3), and 6. However, it appears to have been updated to include season 7.

It seems pretty doubtful that Frey would make a Jon Snow-like revival in the story, but there is a plausible reason he could make an appearance despite his demise. Late in 2016, a Redditor leaked the alleged plot of the seventh season, some details of which seem to be coming true. One of those details was Arya wearing Frey's face to kill more of his sons.

Again, fun times.
