Suns' Morris suspended one game; Nunnally waived

The NBA announced Thursday that Phoenix Suns power forward Markieff Morris was suspended one game without pay for elbowing Oklahoma City Thunder power forward Serge Ibaka in the face.

The incident occurred with 6:42 left in the third quarter of Tuesday's preseason game, won by Phoenix.

Morris is suspended for the Suns' first regular season-game in which he is eligible and physically able to play.

Also, the Suns announced that they waived guard/forward James Nunnally, who appeared in three preseason games. The team's roster is at 17 players.
