New York Knicks forward Amar'e Stoudemire said on Monday he expects to return to action for Game 3 of the series against the Indiana Pacers, the New York Times reported.
Stoudemire played in a 3-on-3 scrimmage in practice on Monday for the first time since knee surgery earlier in the season.
He is still regaining his conditioning, but, barring any setbacks, expects to play in Game 3 on Saturday
Stoudemire has not played in a game since March 7. Knicks coach Mike Woodson has already said Stoudemire will not play in Game 2 on Tuesday. Indiana leads the series 1-0.
