Steve Nash: (Hip/Hamstring) Intends To Play Through Pain

Rotowire.com
Update: Nash intends to play through his hip and hamstring injuries, despite experiencing a "fair amount" of pain, Yahoo! Sports reports.

Recommendation: Nash has endured a rash of injuries in his first season with the Lakers, including missing the final eight games of the regular season due to his current injury concerns. He returned to the lineup for Sunday's Game 1 loss in San Antonio, eking out 16 points (6-15 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three assists, and two rebounds in 29 minutes. With Kobe Bryant (Achilles) out, shots are likely to be there for Nash, but he surely isn't his typical playmaking self at the moment.
