Steelers sign punter Adam Podlesh

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed punter Adam Podlesh to a one-year contract.

Podlesh is a former Jacksonville Jaguars fourth-round draft pick.

He was with the Chicago Bears for the past three seasons.

He played for the Jaguars for four NFL seasons.

He has punted in 107 regular-season contests, recording 467 punts for 19,816 yards with a long punt of 76 yards. Podlesh has averaged 40 yards per punt in every single season of his career and has 157 career punts downed inside the opponent’s 20-yard line in the regular season.
