Offensive tackle Jonathan Scott was released by the Steelers, who re-signed veteran Max Starks earlier this week. Scott started 14 of the 28 regular-season games he appeared in for Pittsburgh over the past two seasons. He was originally a fifth-round pick by Detroit in 2006. With rookie Mike Adams expected to compete with Starks on the left side and second-year man Marcus Gilbert scheduled to start at right tackle, the Steelers have bulked up depth along their offensive line during the offseason.
