Steelers reinstate rookie Ta'amu

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie nose tackle Alameda Ta'amu was reinstated on Monday after being suspended for two weeks following an arrest.

Ta'amu, a fourth-round pick by the Steelers in the 21012 draft, was inactive for the first five games of the season.

Then, on Oct. 14, Ta'amu was charged with drunken driving and attempting to elude police during a car chase. He hit several vehicles while the police were in pursuit. The incident resulted in five felony charges, including aggravated assault, and 10 total charges against Ta'amu.
