QB Ben Roethlisberger will start on Sunday against the Chargers, head coach Mike Tomlin announced.
“He has been above the line in all areas,” Tomlin told the team’s website. “Really, the only question we can’t answer is taking a hit. Obviously that will be answered in the stadium on Sunday.”
Roethlisberger has not played since suffering shoulder and rib injuries in Week 10 against the Chiefs. Pittsburgh has a 1-2 record in the three games he missed.
Big Ben has thrown 17 touchdowns and four interceptions this season.
