Three key members of the Pittsburgh Steelers could be back in the lineup for the team this Sunday, with two of them poised to make their season debuts, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Linebacker James Harrison and running back Rashard Mendenhall have not played at all this season due to knee injuries, while safety Troy Polamalu has been out with a calf injury. He has missed the past two games with the injury.
"Based on what I'm looking at in terms of how they worked and how we worked yesterday, I think that's a safe assessment," Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Wednesday. " But, again, we'll watch these guys as we proceed throughout the week. All the guys have performed well and have been able to get through practice. We're optimistic that they're going to be full participants.
