The Steelers added CB Justin King to the active roster and placed CB DeMarcus Van Dyke on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, Mike Tomlin announced Tuesday.

King, a fifth-year pro out of Penn State, played in three games earlier this season for the Colts, recording three tackles and two passes defensed.

Last season, King started all 12 games he played for the Rams and had 48 tackles, five passes defensed and one interception. He began his career with the Rams, and in 2009 he played in 15 games with seven starts.

Van Dyke appeared in nine games this season and made three tackles.

Tomlin also announced that CB Ike Taylor will miss Sunday’s game against the Bengals.
