Junior Tyler Patmon, who was a starting cornerback for Kansas this past season, is leaving the program to transfer to another school, the Lawrence World-Journal reported.
Patmon tweeted Thursday that "[w]herever the Lord takes me for my last year of college ball I'll be thankful no matter what."
No reason was given for his departure, and Patmon tweeted "not by choice" when asked why he was leaving.
Patmon is scheduled to graduate in May, which would make him eligible to play at a different FBS school next season.
Patmon started 28 games at Kansas, including all 12 in 2012.
