Zac Stacy had a big day running the football, but it wasn't enough to avoid a defeat for the Rams against the Titans, 28-21, at home.
Kellen Clemens went 20 out of 35 for 210 yards passing, one touchdown and one fumble. Jake Locker finished 13 for 22 with 185 yards passing, one touchdown (0 pass, 1 rush) and two picks for the Titans.
Stacy was a standout player for the Rams, rushing for 127 yards on 27 attempts while adding two touchdowns and had six receptions for 51 yards. Jared Cook caught three balls for 36 yards with a touchdown.
The St. Louis defense struggled against the run, but managed to slow down the passing game, giving up 185 yards passing and 198 rushing. They tormented Locker with four sacks.
Titans running back Chris Johnson had a big game, putting up 150 yards rushing, 20 receiving and two touchdowns. Running back Shonn Greene also put together a noteworthy performance with 38 rushing yards, 28 receiving and one touchdown.
The Rams head to Indianapolis next week to face the Colts (5-2) while the Titans host the Jaguars (0-8).
