The Rams dismantled the Texans, 38-13, in Houston.
Sam Bradford punished the Texans for three scores on 12 of 16 passing for 117 yards and no interceptions. On the Texans side, Matt Schaub did not have as good a day, going 15 of 21 with 186 yards passing, no touchdowns and no interceptions.
Zac Stacy rushed for 79 yards on 18 attempts in addition to two receptions for 11 yards. Jared Cook caught two passes for 45 yards.
The St. Louis defensive unit led the way to a victory, bringing back one interception and one fumble for touchdowns. They consistently put pressure on Schaub and the Texans offensive line, racking up five sacks.
Texans running back Arian Foster gave a standout effort with 141 yards rushing and 57 receiving. Wide receiver Andre Johnson had a good game as well with 88 receiving yards.
The Rams travel to Charlotte next week to meet the Panthers (2-3) while the Texans visit Kansas City to take on the Chiefs (6-0).
