ROSEMONT, Ill. -- Jamal Branch scored a career-high 18 points and D'Angelo Harrison added 15 as St. John's held off a late DePaul rally for a 71-62 Big East road victory Saturday afternoon at Allstate Arena. The win was the second straight for the Red Storm (11-7, 3-3 Big East), which also beat No. 20 Notre Dame last Tuesday. The Blue Demons used a barrage of 3-pointers to climb back into contention as Jamee Crockett had back-to-back distance shots and Moses Morgan hit another with 2:33 left in regulation as DePaul cut the deficit to 65-62.
