Marco Belinelli came off the bench and put up 17 points on 7-12 shooting. San Antonio also got solid performances from Kawhi Leonard with 15 points and 7 rebounds, Tiago Splitter with 11 points and 11 rebounds, and Tim Duncan with 10 points and 9 rebounds. On 7-17 shooting, Isaiah Thomas put up 18 points for Sacramento in the loss.
In addition to 28.6% from 3-point range, the Kings tallied an eFG% of just 42.5%. They are 1-9 on the season when registering marks below 30% and 45%, respectively, in those statistics. The Spurs, conversely, are undefeated (12-0) when holding the opposition to such dismal shooting numbers.
Sacramento (24-45) has now dropped three straight contests to San Antonio.
