Spurs' Parker scheduled for MRI

San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker is scheduled for what the team is calling a precautionary MRI on his injured calf.

Parker will have the exam Thursday, according to the San Antonio Express-News.

Parker, 31, was hindered by the left calf strain in teh final two games of the Western Conference semifinals series against the Golden State Warriors.

He scored 15 points with 18 assists Tuesday in the Spurs' overtime victory over Memphis and is averaging 16 points in the past three playoff games but 21.6 points overall in 12 games this postseason.

Parker missed eight games with an ankle injury and played only 66 of 82 regular-season games.
