Calgary Flames forward Curtis Glencross will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a Grade 2 medial collateral ligament sprain, the team announced Sunday.
The expected recovery time is four to six weeks, but the Flames have only four games left in the regular season this week and already are eliminated from playoff contention.
Glencross, 30, was injured in the Flames' win over Anaheim on Friday night when he collided with Ducks defenseman Ben Lovejoy.
Glencross leads the Flames in goals with 15 and ranks fourth in points with 26 in 40 games this season.
