Claudio Bieler's brace led Sporting Kansas City to an easy 4-0 win against 10-man Chivas USA at Sporting Park on Sunday.

Bieler opened the scoring after a series of errors in the Chivas USA defense presented the ball to Graham Zusi, who slotted Bieler in behind the defense. The Argentine calmly cut past Dan Kennedy before finishing.

The home side took full control after a game changing incident in the 54th minute.

Zusi played a perfect through ball to Paulo Nagamura, who ran across Kennedy and went down with what appeared to be minimal contact. Referee Baldomero Toledo pointed to the spot though, and sent Kennedy off for being the last defender. Bieler stepped up and buried the penalty past replacement keeper Patrick McLain.

Just minutes later, Sporting KC added a third when Zusi finished from close range after a cross from the left flank by Josh Gardner. The home side wasn't done though, as C.J. Sapong's one-timer off a Mechack Jerome cross provided the fourth and final goal late in the match.
