Source: Texans cut linebacker Evan Frierson
The Houston Texans are cutting inside linebacker Evan Frierson, according to a league source.
Frierson is a young player expected to draw interest from other NFL teams.
The 6-foot-2, 234-pounder played collegiately at Illinois State.
He began his career at Illinois before transferring to Illinois State following his sophomore season, finishing with 138 tackles, 13 sacks, 27 tackles for loss and three forced fumbles in his final two seasons.
