North Dakota State offensive tackle Billy Turner is visiting the Dallas Cowboys today, according to a league source.
Turner had a private workout for the Cowboys last week in Minneapolis.
He has upcoming visits this week with the St. Louis Rams and Minnesota Vikings.
The 6-foot-5, 317-pounder ran the 40-yard dash in 5.16 seconds at the NFL scouting combine, bench pressing 225 pounds 25 times. He registered a 28-inch vertical leap and a 9-foot broad jump.
The FCS All-American selection won a national championship last season, defeating Towson in the title game in Texas.
Turner has drawn high marks for his versatility, hand punch, toughness and character.
