James Madison outside linebacker-defensive endJordan Stanton had a private workout last week for the Philadelphia Eagles, according to a league source.
Stanton had a follow-up call with the Eagles' linebackers coach.
The All-Colonial Athletic Association conference defensive line selection had 56 tackles, 11.5 for losses and eight sacks last season.
The converted defensive lineman pulled his hamstring during his first 40-yard dash, but bench pressed 225 pounds 18 times, had a 29-inch vertical leap and had a 9-7 broad jump.
As a junior, he had 37 tackles, six for losses and three sacks.
He had 29 tackles, 4.5 for losses, 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble.
